Long before Marielle ever took charge of the magic shop, her dream was to be a bard. She wanted to sing stories of life, of love, of victory to all who would hear. It was the whole reason she came to Vesuvia from her hometown, actually: there would be more opportunity for her to make a name for herself in the bustling city of Vesuvia than the quiet pastures of Venterre. Everyone in her town knew this, and thanks to their encouragement, Marielle left for Vesuvia. She and Asra met while she was performing her songs on the streets.
These days, though, that dream is one forgotten as Marielle heads her aunt's magic shop with Asra by her side. Every now and then, though, the familiar lyre finds its way to her hands, and she can't help but sing another song to its music.
